Hi,
I think that probably the problem is given by the fact that I’m not using the product pages that come with woocommerce but the page design is really important to us.
Yes, you get the point, this is the reason of your problem.
I’ll add this kind of problem in our roadmap and I’ll try to find a solution also for this usage of plugin.
Anyway, for this moment the only way to achieve this is create manually the ads events for “ViewContent” in the tab “Conversions/Events”. You should create one event per product and for each:
– set “content_ids” with the ID of the product you add in the page (you can see it in the product list table of WooCommerce
– set “content_type” as product
– set “value” with the proper price of the product
– set “currency”
I hope it can helps.
Hi Anto,
Thanks for the reply. I did create all the events for “view content” manually, and set the “content_ids”, “content_type” as product.

What I didn’t do is to set the “value or currency”. Do you think that could be the reason why is not working?
Or could it be that having 100 visitors per day is a low amount of traffic for a Facebook dynamic ads to work?
Btw, in the “value” parameter, should I put the value of the product, or the value for me of a potential customer adding a product to the cart?
Thanks for your help!

It should be working though. Have you checked with the Pixel Helper Chrome Extension?

You have to put the product price, that is the value of the conversion.
Yes, I checked with the Pixel Helper Chrome extension. When I access the product pages that I created, the “view content” pixel appears.
Here is a screenshot, maybe you can spot a problem that I don’t see.

Thanks again for helping me!
Hi Anto!
I’ve still been having problem with the pixel firing correctly.
So I kept searching what can be wrong. Might be a problem that the “ecommerce tracking” built in the pixel caffeine (see pic below to see which one I refer)

is interfering with the custom “view content” of the products that I created? (see pic below to see which ones I refer)

I know that the pixels are not working correctly because I can see that the pixels in my site are firing like crazy (see pic below)
https://nofilterbodycare.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Screen-Shot-2017-04-28-at-6.36.31-PM.png
and the Facebook dynamic ads are barely been shown to people (see pic below)

I really appreciate your help!
Federico.
Hi,
have you checked if the expected pixels are fired correctly, by checking the Pixel Helper Chrome Extension?
Hi,
Yes, I checked several times and it was correct. I took me long to respond because I thought that the problem could have been the website loading time. I changed my hosting provider and the dynamic product ad seem to be working well now.
I’m not a 100% sure that was the problem, but since the change, the ad started working properly.
Thanks for your assistance and patience!
