Facebook feed problem when using App Token

    Hi,

    I have a problem when using Facebook feed with App Token instead of default token provided with this plugin :
    – when I use the default token, everything is fine and the Facebook feed displays correctly, as you can check here on the production website http://englishrosebakery.com/news
    – but sometimes the feed is not loading correctly due to the default app token, so I generated a Facebook app token, I entered it in FTS settings, it appeared as accepted, but now the feed only shows “activity around the FB page” (like posts or comments made by the owner of the page on other FB pages) instead of actual page content (posts and pictures).

    To make the problem easier to understand :
    – prod site without custom app tocken is OK : http://englishrosebakery.com/news
    – dev site with custom app token is not OK : http://englishrosebakery.apicius.org/news (demo / demo)

    Do you have any idea why ? Is it something to fix on FB side or FTS setting ?

    From what I see between the 2 it’s only the last few posts that are different. The problem here is that facebook keeps changing the API and our Default app tokens make it so that some posts don’t show because our apps our older that house those tokens. So when you create a new app and get that token you are tapping into more of the api for facebook. Very soon we are going to figure out a way to allow you to filter out certain posts like the ones where you comment on something or like something.

    So I’ll stay with the default app token for now, that seems to work pretty fine for now, and I’ll use my own app token when the option to filter out will be added, thanks again !
