    Hi,

I’ve added the page ID, App ID and Secret APP ID to the SEP settings. The page ID was fairly simple to find. For the App ID and Secret APP ID I had register as a developer on FB and create the App. I think that’s where the problem might come from or maybe it’s something with the integration and Facebook tightening its rules following their recent privacy issues but all I get where the FB events should be listed: “It seems you did not fill social settings section properly, please double check it or maybe your given Facebook page does not have events any more.” The FB page has 1 event currently that already existed when I integrated SEP. Any tips on how to configure the FB app to make this work? I have made the app public thinking that may be an issue but it’s still not working. All 3 fields are filled in on the settings page correctly so it leads me to believe that it’s something with the FB app permissions maybe? Page isn’t live yet so I can’t really link to it yet.

    Hello @abak007,

For testing purpose, please use the Facebook Graph API Explorer tool and make sure that events are listed upon the request or not.

Yes the event details show up when I use the Graph API explorer and grant it access to my pages and then search for events. It shows all the details for the event and the page ID is the same one I have in the SEP Social settings. The event details still do not show up on the SEP events page and I still get the message as described in the first post.

@presstigers Do you think you can provide instructions on how to create and configure a Facebook App to obtain the necessary APP ID and APP ID secret that is required for your plugin to work? The current instructions are very minimal and assume one already has a working FB app and knows their way around the graph API and permissions.

    Thank you,
    Abak

    Hello @abak007,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Currently, Facebook is not accepting the apps as they are changing their platform due to security reasons so we can’t display Facebook Page events as our plugin is compliance with Facebook APP. The Facebook team also disabled the already created apps.

We’ll surely let you know if we found any way out of this issue.

    Thanks & Regards,
