Facebook Mobile Browser Android

    Hi,

    I have been using Plugin Organizer for a few months and it works really well. The only thing I have noticed is when clicking a link to our site through Facebook on an Android phone it loads the link in the Facebook Mobile Browser and on here it ignores the plugin organizer rules and loads the plugins. If I open a link in Chrome/Samsung Internet it doesn’t load the plugins so it seems specific to when you click a link in Facebook but it’s quite an important one as a lot of our traffic comes via Facebook, any ideas what it could be?

    Either facebook is changing the URL or you have Selective Mobile Plugin Loading turned on and you disabled the plugins for mobile browsers. Facebook’s browser might not be listed in the mobile user agents.

    Thanks for the reply, I dont have selective mobile setup so the plugins are disabled the same for desktop and mobile, I can tell in normal mobile view (e.g. Chrome) the plugins are definately disabled but when loaded through the Facebook app they aren’t. I have the filter set by the post type rather than URL filter so if Facebook did change the URL would this matter?

    I have found the setting, when I turn off disable plugins by role I can tell the filter works via Facebook, not sure why but that definately did the trick.
