facebook.net sdk.js ??

    Hi,

    I just found out that wpDiscuz seems to connect to Facebook (facebook.net) on all pages where comments are displayed to retrieve a file called sdk.js… Why? Is that right? How do you disable that. I do NOT want to connect to Facebook from my website.

    Hm, it seems that wpDiscuz is loading sdk.js whenever Facebook Social Login is configured wheter it is actively used or not. In my case I set it up but didn’t activated Social Logins. I now reset the social login tab in the settings and the call for sdk.js is gone. I would like this behavior to be explained in the help texts.

    Hi @knodderdachs,

    Sorry for the late response.

    This should work in this way. The sdk.js is loaded in each place where the Facebook Social Login and sharing are enabled. If you don’t want to load the file you shouldn’t use the Facebook Social Login and sharing functions.
