    Hi,

I am using the Jetpack sharing option in particular sharing buttons of some social networks under the post and a connection with the same social networks so that my posts are automatically published in the fanpages within them.

I am having troubles with Facebook. The connection is working properly, when I post a new article it appears in the fanpage in FB.

However I noticed that when somebody clicks the FB like button under the post, the amount of likes increases under the post but not in the post on the fanpage and no information appears on the FB timeline of the person who clicked “like” under the post.

How can I fix this issue so that by clicking like under the post it appears on the post on the FB fanpage and on the timeline of the person whi clicked the like?

And also, is there an option to add a “share” and not only “like” FB button?

    Thanks

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

As for adding a Facebook Share button, you can follow the steps in this forum post on how to do that (the steps by Jeremy Herve):

    Hi,
I am having the same issue here: latest WP release and Jetpack version. Sharing option is turned on and connected to a Facebook page. When WP posts something new, the sharing on both Facebook and Twitter works perfectly. The sharing buttons are on as well.

When I enter the post itself, it has small numbers in the icons of Facebook and Twitter. I assume these are the number of shares or maybe likes. When I click the Facebook icon, it opens a dialog box and shares the link.

However – the post itself on the Facebook page is not updated. It still shows 0 shares.

Is there a way to fix that?
Is there a way for me (as an administrator) to see /who/ shared the post?

    thank you very much!

@loyadati – that sounds like a different issue from the original post.

The “0 Shares” you see on Facebook means that it was shared 0 times from that Facebook post – which is different than being shared from your WordPress site.

If the user shared that particular Facebook wall post – that would count as a share, but since they are instead sharing your WordPress post, it’s a different thing they are sharing (even though it’s the same URL or content).

thank you for your quick response.
Is there a way for me to know /who/ shared the post from my blog?

    Hello,

I am using Jetpack sharing buttons, total 5 visitors shared my blog. I want to see “Who shared it”. Can it possible?

@loyadati @pradipmehta That won’t be possible. Facebook doesn’t disclose that information, for privacy reasons. You can only know how many people, shared, commented on, or Liked a post.
