Facebook sharing problem

    Hello,
    I’m writing this about a problem I’m having with sharing to Facebook from my website. The sharing features work fine except for one thing: The text in the description in the dialogue box that pops up, and subsequently in the person’s Facebook post, doesn’t reflect the text from the page I’m trying to share. Instead it is some old piece of writing, that I can’t find in WordPress to edit.
    Any help in making the description reflect what is on the webpage would be much appreciated!

    I think that Facebook is grabbing the content of your meta tags. Looks like you have the all in one seo plugin install. Just change the titles to what you want it to say.

    Hi Christina, Thank you so much for the reply!
    I checked the SEO plugin and the description that’s in there is not the one that’s coming up on the facebook share window, I wish it was! It there a way to change meta tags in wordpress? What else can I try to make the page contents reflect in the facebook post share?

    I found the the meta tags in the heather.php and edited the old description to a new one and saved everything. Still the same old text is showing up when I try to FB share. Are there other meta tags locations I should be editing? I also disabled SEO plugin didn’t seam to work anyway.Any help would be appreciated.

    I took a quick look at the output one your site, and noticed you are suing the Facebook Open Graph protocol plugin, and that is not completely setup yet. That appears to be the problem.

    wow! typo-rama! I feel a little embarrassed… I meant to say:

    I took a quick look at your site and noticed you are using the Facebook Open Graph protocol plugin, and that is not completely setup yet. That appears to be the problem.

    Anyways, head over to the official FB debugging tool (http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug), and enter your URL. It will show you the Object Properties. Setting up Facebook Open Graph properly will take care of the issue.

    ok maybe I got exited too soon here. the facebook share works on some pages but not on all, any ideas why is this still happening and how could be fixed?

    examples:
    here whne you try to share with facebook the description reflects the page fine
