facebook status – like posting

hi guys

i want to create a facebook status update-like thing to my page.

the idea is that my website only has one page and on that page users should be able to post updates, and other users being able to comment. – all that without login (like when on facebook)

my thought was to do so by letting them create articles, however it doesnt seem that simple.

anybody having an idea how to do the structure, or if theres a plugin that could make this simple.
