    HI Yoast Seo family,
    Thank you for this great plugin. However, I have a problem with facebook title and description. I checked for possible problems with the facebook debugger but they don’t seem to be there.
    I also cleared the facebook cache … nothing. I don’t use any wordpress sharing plugin from wordpress to facebook, but I copy and paste the link directly on the post I would like to do. However in the facebook preview, the title of the article appears as the title, while as a description, the beginning of the body of the article! How can I solve it? Thanks in advance

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    After reviewing the code for your site, you are outputting multiple copies of the OpenGraph tags. This can cause problems when sharing content on social media sites.

    Please disable plugins or theme functions that add additional meta tags. If you are unsure what is adding the additional tags, please run a conflict check following the steps here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts

    Hi Yoast SEO support,
    I want to thank you but the problem PERSISTS!
    This is killing the copywriting of my facebook campaigns and therefore I am losing money! I would not want to activate Yoast SEO Premium just to solve a problem related to your free version! Thank you in advance, good day!

    @eugeniodel

    This screenshot shows that the Yoast SEO plugin outputs the correct OpenGraph data for your page. However, another set of meta data is being inserted by another plugin/theme which conflicts with the one generated by Yoast (see image here). That means that the issue is not caused by our plugin. We suggest using the Health Check & Troubleshooting to determine which plugin is inserting those OG data by disabling your theme/plugins one by one.

    Hi @jerparx ,
    Thank you for your kind answer!
    I have already done the procedure you recommended and the problem persists! The only plausible solution will be to pay yoast seo premium and ask support to resolve the problem!
    Good quarantine!

    The theme you use has an Open Graph tags. Have you disabled them?

    Go to Avada > Theme Options > Advanced > Theme Features > Open Graph Meta Tags (5th from bottom). Make sure this is set to ‘Off’. If set to ‘On’, switch it to ‘Off’ and save settings.

    Avada’s documentation video regarding this feature is here: https://youtu.be/ufpZjQus9m4?t=360

    Closed. No further questions.
