I haven’t received any reports of issues from any other users, and I just manually verified it myself & it’s still working. Please see the FAQs for common user errors (i.e. you have other conflicting plugins/themes, browser extensions, etc) – or fully describe what behavior you’re actually seeing (“the token doesn’t work” could mean many things, but is not an actual error message shown by the plugin).
I am having the exact same problem. This is what happens:
- I click the button to log into Facebook.
- I agree to the connection in the box that pops up.
- The screen says “extending access for 60 days”
- I get kicked out of the site.
I have the most recent version of your plugin and nothing else has changed on the site.
Since I couldn’t solve the problem quickly, I used another plugin, until I find a solution.
Basically, my issue was the following:
I would click on the button to get a token.
I would log into Facebook, then see a message saying I got a new token.
But in WordPress, I would still have an error message saying I have no token.
That does sound like a different problem than I’m having, but may I ask what other plugin you’re using now?
I used to use Srizon Facebook Album until it has recently been discontinued. Now, I use FeedThem, even though, the free version is very limited, because all the pictures on my website have disappeared since I stopped using Srizon.
Thank you so much – that’s exactly what I needed!

@orgassist: what do you mean by “get kicked out of the site”? Which site? What’s actually happening?
Have you (both) tried a different browser? Again, it’s still working for me, and I’ve tested it on 2 separate PCs and with 2 separate Facebook accounts, once of which has never used this plugin before (to simulate a first-time setup).
By “kicked out” I mean it logs me out of the site. I have already deactivated and deleted the plugin so I can’t answer any more questions.

Fair enough.
For what it’s worth, I have had several dozen new user activations since this was reported, & still no other mentions of activation issues. I’ve also activated it on a few more sites myself. So it seems pretty clear that the above 2 cases were isolated, my guess is caused by something like a 3rd party browser addon or some nonstandard browser settings that broke the Facebook login cookie. In any case…glad you found another solution that wasn’t affected by whatever those settings were.
