    Hello,

It’s a great plugin helping me not to have Facebook SDK manually anymore πŸ™‚
However, Facepile isn’t showing when I have checked the show facepile checkbox.

Also, is it possible to specify to place the JS SDK not at the footer, so the markup of the Facebook page is not displayed before the page is fully loaded. Or is there any work around to this?

Thanks for the great plugin again!

    Hi maimairel,

Are you using the latest version? I have tested it and the Facepile option in the widget is working. Perhaps your height setting is too small, try adding 50 to your current height setting and see if it shows then. As the Facepile displays below the header perhaps it is just hidden because your widget is too short.

The JavaScript is not placed at the footer, it is inserted with the widget.

There is no markdown displayed. While the plugin loads, it simply displays a link to your Facebook page. I can add an option to customise and/or hide this if you like.

    Thanks,
    Cameron

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I can’t get the facepile to show at all, the page has more than 100k likes. The width and height of the widget is left empty, what could be the issue?

Yes, I want the Facebook link to be hidden before it is loaded, just like when manually adding the Facebook page widget, there’s nothing displayed until the widget is loaded.

    Thank you!

    Hi maimairel,

If you leave the height empty, the plugin will to about 140px. This is only high enough to display the header. As I stated in my previous post, the facepile is below the header, and because of the height of the plugin it is hidden. Set the height to 214, or 154 if “small header” is checked, and facepile will show up below the header.

Version 1.4 will include two new options, to show/hide a link to the page, and the link text if shown, amongst other things. I’m hoping to get that out within the next week.

    Thanks,
    Cameron
