    Hey turnkey13,

    Visibility was added in version 2.0 2 years ago and it was as far as I can remember always a premium feature.

    Widget Visibility (http://screencast.com/t/atc5XXWOu5) is not a main function of the plugin, this one just allows you to setup conditions to hide/show specific widgets on specific type of pages, the main functionality is replacing sidebars on specific pages or type of pages.
