    Hi @carolyntband

Seems like the process failed without specific error, it could be even aborted by your browser due to things like:
    a) Your PC go into sleep-mode
    b) Screen-saver mode is enabled or was activated
    c) [Mac] Drive-sleep mode is enabled
    d) You have run the restoration from Opera GX or Brave browser
    e) You use extension(s) that limits resource usage or “saves energy”
    f) Your web server has rate-limiting enabled and due to its large database size, it got timed out due to time of the process

Please, try again with this beta version:
    https://backupbliss.com/downloads/plugins/bmi-betas/backup-backup-1.3.5.2.zip

Once you do that, increase search replace page size:

    1. Remove existing staging site (it should be listed in our plugin settings after page refresh, it will remove any leftover files), if it does not exist, our plugin most likely removed it already
    2. Go to “Other options” section
    3. Find “Modify Search & Replace Page Size”: https://prnt.sc/m-YdmBT88HI0
      – Set the value there to 300, if that won’t work, try 100.
    4. Save “Other options” section
    5. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm

Let me know if that resolves your issue 🙂
    Thank you!

    Thank you for this.

I added the new plugin and followed your instructions but I still got an error.

    Hi @carolyntband

    Hm, that’s strange.

Could I kindly ask you to enable WP_DEBUG constant in your wp-config.php file?
    – Details: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug

Once you do that, please also temporary disable Jetpack plugin which tends to conflict with our plugin for some reason.

And at the end, can you use different browser in incognito mode?
If you’re using Safari, try Chrome
If you’re using Chrome on Windows, use Edge, and vice-versa.

For now it still looks like some firewall-like software kills the process, maybe your hosting provider, if you’re using wordpress.com hosting our plugin may not work properly as they does not really allow usage of any third party backup plugin.

That will increase chance of throwing informative error which will allow me to provide you proper support.
    Thank you!
