failed connect to server

    hi dear friend, i have a problem in test email:

    Connection: Failed to connect to server. Error number 2. “Error notice: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to smtp.gmail.com:465 (Connection refused)

    this is same for smtp.ymail.com in port 465 and 587

    dosent work !
    what can i do?

    Hi,

    This is a very common problem, usually caused by outbound SMTP blocking by your ISP, e.g. GoDaddy does this. What’s that nmap scan of? gmail?

    Please check back with your host if they are blocking outbound SMTP Connections.
