Getting Failed Cron Events
-
I am getting failed cron events coming from your plugin. They are scheduled to run every 1 week and are filling up my events. Even when I click the link to Run that isn’t relying WP Cron I still get a failed event. It’s saying that callbacks are not registered. I can deactivate all plugins and this doesn’t fix anything.
Here are the 2 errors I’m receiving.
action failed via WP Cron: Scheduled action for wpforms_admin_addons_cache_update will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.
action failed via WP Cron: Scheduled action for wpforms_admin_builder_templates_cache_update will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.
Just a side note. I’m also using your WP Mail SMTP plugin so not sure if this error is coming from the main WP Forms plugin or the WP Mail SMTP plugin.

Hi @chargeup — Sorry to hear about the trouble that you have faced here!
I suspect there is an issue with Action Scheduler thus cron jobs failing. Could you please check if there fail jobs under WPForms 》Tools》under Action scheduler tab.
Also please share Site Info From Site Heath status this way we shall see any failed events.Thank you,
I’m getting the same error on every site using WP Forms which is quite a lot. I went back and look at the cron events and it’s actually been happening since I installed the plugin. Doesn’t seem to be any issues with the Action Scheduler. I even tested using your advice.
https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-troubleshoot-action-scheduler-issues-in-wpforms/
Here are the failed events. It’s the exact same on every site.
action failed via WP Cron: Scheduled action for wpforms_admin_addons_cache_update will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.
action failed via WP Cron: Scheduled action for wpforms_admin_builder_templates_cache_update will not be executed as no callbacks are registered.
Hope this helps.
Hi @chargeup
Before we can proceed further, could you please help us to collect some details from your site so that we can understand the root cause of the issue? To get started, could you please head over to WPForms > Tools > Scheduled Actions and share a screenshot of this page?I’m looking forward to your response! Thanks 🙂
I’m unable to add images here. Is there a support email I can reach you and I can send them to you there?
Moderator note: upload images to a site like imgur.com (free, no login required) and post links to those images.

Hi @chargeup
Would you mind sharing the Screenshot of the Site Health and Site information as mentioned in my previous responses. Thanks,
Can I email you logins to take a look around? It’s happening on every site. Might be easier for you to look under the hood.
Hi @chargeup
I apologize again for the trouble you’re facing and we’d like to investigate this issue further. However, this will require a more extensive troubleshooting where login access to your site will be needed which does not conform to the rules of the ww.wp.xz.cn support forums.
Unfortunately, our hands are tied here, we are only able to login and troubleshoot issues on sites that are running the paid version of WPForms. Please consider upgrading to a paid version of WPForms, as it includes a dedicated email support channel where our support team will be able to take a closer look at issues of this nature.
In case it helps to know, we have a refund policy where if over the first 14 days decide WPForms isn’t a good fit, then we’ll happily refund 100% of your money. No questions asked.
My apologies. I wasn’t aware of that rules. I’ll look into the paid version.
In the meantime, here is the requested Site Information.
