    Hi,

From the log, it appears that there are very large gaps between resumptions. As such, it appears that the backup may be losing the backup information.

This is usually caused by a lack of visitors to the site. UpdraftPlus can only trigger a backup resumption if WordPress is loaded into memory, which occurs when someone visits the site.
We usually recommend setting up some automated visits to the site around the time of the scheduled backup.

The following guide has further information on the issue, and a number of suggestions on setting up dummy visits to the site:

    Hi,

If the gap between resumptions is too long, the backup metadata can be lost, leading to errors.
In this case, the log file that you sent starts at resumption 1, rather than 0.
Please could you check the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP for any log files generated around the time of the backup? The first part of the log should be present.

We will then be able to confirm if the FTP issue is due to the metadata being lost, or a different cause.
