Failed login

    Hello! This is kind of related to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/failed-logins-2/#post-12962688

    So I enabled the login IP restriction with 1 IP but the failed database table is still filling up with failed attempts from other IPs. Mainly from someone (or it) trying to use the username [login] from all random IPs. I’m so confused. Anything else I can try that I missed?

    Hi,

    Go to WP Security -> Firewall -> Basic Firewall Rules and check to make sure one of the following security features is enabled.

    Completely Block Access To XMLRPC:
    Disable Pinback Functionality From XMLRPC:

    Let me know what happens.

    Woooow. That was it! I saw that option but had no idea what it even was! Dang. That was a new one to me. Thank you!!
