    because probably I’m a bit paranoid as you πŸ˜„
    I think can be great have a failed login option.
    For not have many mails I think can be useful try to use a transient that store failed login based on IP (maybe MD5 hashed for GDPR) and send email only if there is X transient on X time (triggered by a failed login and not by cron for better optimization?). A cron can clean transient old more than 24h.

    What do you think?
