A newly create site – “Super-quick migration” fails almost immediately: BMI-lBlzVrrh-67228.

I then uploaded the backup to the new site and started a restore using the backup file.

    The process get stuck in:

Step: [CLI] Started restoration of <table_name> 83/128 (64.84%) table

    Progress of <table_name> 1/3 (33.33%).

    The table has 25 rows!

The “Restoring in progress” cannot be closed

    This messed my site up!

It is left in a state where I’m not able to login as admin anymore.

I have to re-initialise WordPress (and find a different migration product!).

    Hello @jwagnert ,

The debug log that you provided tells me that the remote restoration attempt was not successful because the file could not be downloaded or it is not correct backup file.

After that I guess you uploaded the backup file manually and attempted the restoration. Unfortunately we don’t have debug log into that second process.

I would advise that firstly you inspect the backup file on your local machine, to check its integrity: take a peek inside it, see if the content is visible, especially the manifest json file. If it is, it is a correctly made backup file.

You can also try to restore it on a test site, see if it gets any errors there. If it does, please share the debug log with us so we can advise further.

In any case, our team is more than eager to help to guide you to a successful migration.

    Kind regards
