Failed restore with updraftplus

    Hi

    I seem to encounter a failed restore with a plugin issue. This is the script the log shows:

    0000.176 (0) Failed to gain semaphore lock (fd) – another backup of this type is apparently already active – aborting (if this is wrong – i.e. if the other backup crashed without removing the lock, then another can be started after 3 minutes)

    Hi,

    That message means another backup or restore process is already running — or a previous one didn’t close properly, leaving a “lock” in place.

    Here’s what you can do:
    1. Wait at least 3–5 minutes, then try the restore again.
    2. You can also check your server for any stalled PHP processes and end them from your hosting control panel.

    If the issue persists, please check your PHP error log for any related errors and send us a copy of the full restoration log (found in /wp-content/updraft/) so we can review it further.

    Same. Doesn’t work. I followed all of the instructions and it failed the first time I tried to use it. This might only be me, but it’s been backing up fine, but restoration doesn’t work. Please help
