Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Warning: require_once(__DIR__/includes/admin-notice-helper/admin-notice-helper.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/sitename.com/htdocs/wp/wp-content/plugins/wp-opening-hours/wp-opening-hours.php on line 20

Site is currently in a folder, not at the root. I think this is the issue.

Are you using a PHP Version less than 5.3? Version 2.0 of the Plugin only works with PHP >= 5.3
I will fix the error to output the PHP version warning properly as an admin notice but the Plugin functionality is not available in PHP <5.3

I have uploaded a revision it should now display the error message properly

Thank you for your help. Upgrading PHP fixed the issue.
