Hello,

I’m getting Failed to communicate with QUIC.cloud server: Unknown error: unknown [server] https://wpapi.quic.cloud [service] tool/wp_rest_echo

and Your WP REST API seems blocked our QUIC.cloud server calls.

it seems you have nginx running in front , please make sure your nginx properly forward the client IP

Same here, running openlitespeed server 🙁 Communication is normal with 6.5.4 version, but errors in 7.0.0 and 7.0.0.1

@qtwrk I’m on a shared hosting server, how can I check that? Sorry i’m not an expert at this.

I’m suspecting they might have disabled something in the server or something?

I tried to ask them to help me but they wouldn’t want to and said i shouldn’t use a cache plugin because it has litespeed server installed but it didn’t made sense since in cpanel when clicking on litespeed server it mentions the wordpress plugin.

now open this page https://www.whatsmyip.org/

do you see same IP on both pages ?

interesting , the server I sent request to your file has IP .161 , but your server indicates the incoming connection was from .199 IP , which is incorrect, and the .199 is your server IP itself , this indicates there is some kind of reverse proxy in local that may interfered IP detection

I’d suggest to forward above result to your hosting provider for further assistance

“It’s disabled on admin side. That IP address doesn’t belong to our subnets and only proxy system we use is nginx which is definitely disabled on your account.”

They asked me to check if i disabled nginx caching in cpanel and it was disabled for 4 days ago and they verified if it truly was disabled as apparently Nginx is a reverse proxy caching system.

I updated the file.

however , when I open it on our nodes , the remote_addr becomes the proxy address , and PROXY_REMOTE_ADDR become NULL

I am not familiar with Nginx though but I think this should be a mis-configuration on server-side configuration

Tried to reach out to support, but they told me they don’t know they are hardware/network experienced, not software. So i guess that’s my dead end.
