That’s a very strange error – would you mind fully uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin again to see if the same error reoccurs? I suspect perhaps something went awry during the first install process, but I will be happy to make the plugin’s developers aware of that issue so it can be addressed.

I didn’t do anything but it seems to magically work now, the widget appears with the subscription form… how strange is that ?

Okay well, the form in the widget is showing but nothing happens when someone tries to subscribe.
Nothing happens when clicking the subscribe button.
I’ve tried to uninstall and install the extension again – without having this weird error- but still, doesn’t work.
What should i do?
Update: nothing happens when filling the form and send it, but it does work somehow, a mail is send to confirm the subscription.

Thanks for keeping me updated. Your last post about the form submission seeming to not work but sending the confirmation email out anyway, this is usually occurring as a result of some other plugin or code on the site interfering with the inline submission responses of the plugin. Unfortunately in all of these cases, we weren’t able to narrow down exactly which caused this issue to occur (since there are a ton of variables involved with different WP installs, plugins used, themes, etc.) – the best solution is to use a different plugin or the MailChimp embed form code.
