• Hi,
I have suddenly come across this error (see below) on an existing wordpress install.

Have search widely for an answer and have tried to debug with the usual switching off plugins. Something I have done recently has changed the path to the wordpress files to the parent folder (public_html) instead of the installation folder. public_html/wordpress

Is there a way to change the path back to the installation folder as the website is not showing and I cannot get into the admin dashboard. Have cpanel/ftp access though.

Warning: require(/public_html/wp-includes/version.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /public_html/wp-settings.php on line 24

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/public_html/wp-includes/version.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php73/pear’) in /public_html/wp-settings.php on line 24
