Failed to process the payment – [UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY]

Hi, I hope you’re well. I’m contacting you because I installed your plugin on my Client’s website. As a test, I wanted to buy a subscription-based product using PayPal. I got the following error:
“Failed to process the payment. Please try again or contact the shop admin. [UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The transaction has been refused because the Invoice ID already exists. Please create a new order or reach out to the store owner. https://developer.paypal.com/api/rest/reference/orders/v2/errors/#DUPLICATE_INVOICE_ID”
Based on https://developer.paypal.com/api/rest/reference/orders/v2/errors/#DUPLICATE_INVOICE_ID, this error should prevent from duplicate payments to be processed. But my card has been charged! And order status is failed in WooCommerce and I can’t refund myself from the Woo dashboard. Could you let me know, please, how to resolve this error?
