I have been having problems with one of my sites taking from 20-75 seconds or even longer in Page Load Time according to GTmetrix and as long as five minutes to complete on anything I try to do on my site in the WP-admin.
It is one site of five that I have hosted with Godaddy managed wordpress and the other four sites are just fine.
I have deleted and reinstalled all of the plugins and gone through all of my posts with a fine tooth comb and deleted more than half of the 45 I had. I have also called godaddy and they tell me it is a plugin but have checked that and found nothing there and also the fact that all five sites have the same plugins.
But I just noticed on this site that I am having the problem with http://www.nfl-sports-betting.net/ something in the CUSTOMIZE section under ADVANCED at the bottom. It says in red under CHANGE LOG “Failed to read the changelog”.
On all the other sites I have the words Change Log at the bottom that I can click on and come up with another page with a bunch of coding.
    Thanks, Ken

Spent all day yesterday at this! Deleted all plugins and added them again. Deleted the Raindrops them and activated another theme then re-installed the Raindrops theme. Edited every single post to give them all good GREEN SEO. Did a full system restore back to the date that my site was still had a 1.5 to 2.5 second Page Load time. The “Failed to read the changelog” message is now gone but I still have a terrible Page Load time of 15 to 25+ seconds.
    BRRRRB! 🙂
