Failed to send email

    Hello,

    I’ve configured my google workspace email and made sure the Gmail API is enabled, but I’m getting this error message when I try and send a test email:

    Hi @reactivesportsrehab,

    Thanks for reaching out! Did you create the Gmail mailer connection under the WP Mail SMTP -> Settings page?

    It looks like you’re trying to connect to an alias email. You need a free Gmail account or a Google Workspace email account (Google business email) to create a Gmail mailer connection.

    Please follow our guide here, and create the Gmail mailer connection on your site.

    Thanks for your reply.
    Ya, I did follow all the steps and created the Gmail mailer connection but it didn’t work.
    I couldn’t send the test email.

    Did you update your “from email address” with the email address you used to create the Gmail mailer connection?

    Yes, I did update the email address. But it still cannot work.
