Hi,
To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the restoration log only? You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via http://FTP.You can send the log file and copy the contents into an online tool (such as http://pastebin.com/ )
Kind Regards,
Bryle
Ok, not sure which one that is, but this is the most recent log listed there:

Hi,
The log shows that the restoration got stuck while restoring the uploads.zip component. The usual cause for this is due to lack of server resources. Please ask your host/server admin to increase your server resources such I/O limit, maximum_execution_timeout and site memory.
Thanks,
Bryle
Ok, my hosting says settings are already at the max, but my restoration still gets hung up during “Uploads” (I can understand that. I can also understand that since it’s gotten through everything else except “Others,” my site looks mooooostly ok except for alignments and formatting).
So… I’ve read your Manual Restore page and is it as simple as just replacing things by FTP? I’m going to go forward trying that. I don’t really think I may need to replace my database, but anything tricky I need to do with this .gz file in myPHP if I have to?
[This hasn’t turned out to be as catastrophic as I thought, but this is my business site, so I need to restore it ASAP]
UPDATE: So I manually replaced the directories with the backups I had and that totally did it. Did not need to fuss with the database (so far, lol). ππ»
The Others is mostly WP files included in every install and cache so I would not worry about this. I never bother restoring the Others. I did try and look at your log but it was unavailable.
