Hi,
Is this when using the “Subscribe” link in the upper right corner in the gray background navigation?
Not managing to get the reCAPTCHA error to show up, but I am seeing that it says in the submitted state, very likely because of the modal popup placement and/or “No refresh” submission style. Not sure we’d be able to detect some of that specifically.
Well upon submission it refreshes if you have checked and what about replacing the business name at the end.
logically the message should disappear after sometime. Also if I try to refresh after submission refresh it ask for confirmation of form re-submission. This is problematic.
The paragraph of text at the bottom has company/address information managed from your Constant Contact account settings, and that has a caching time of about 12hr.
The rest is going to largely be around general user experience with the website. While I’m sure some maybe would, it’s a good question of how often someone would be clicking on subscribe multiple times before potentially navigating to a different page or off the website in general, moving on to their next thing to do.
Curious how/why it’s refreshing and re-opening the modal. That said, I wonder if things would be better here if you did the “no refresh” version with the submission process.
Thanks for suggestion. I did the no refresh rule but it is more problematic as the form disappears and doesn’t reapper until refresh.
My business name is not getting displayed at all, just the placeholder.
Sorry for the delay in followup reply.
Not sure what to suggest at the moment, as the problematic element is more the popup than the form submission behavior. There’s not really anything we could do on our end to change what’s going on.
Did you ever get to a solution here @betterphysiology ?
