Hi @ioruslan88,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear that your experience with the FAQ section didn’t meet your expectations.
I wanted to clarify that it’s absolutely possible to insert Gutenberg blocks and shortcodes in the FAQ section. You can do this by navigating to the following link on your site:
From there, you’ll be able to use the full Gutenberg editor to customize your FAQ content just like any other post or page.
To make this even clearer, here’s a quick screencast showing how it works:

We understand that the absence of a direct “Edit with WordPress Editor” button might have caused confusion. The original idea behind this was to keep FAQs concise and focused, but based on your feedback, we’re now planning to add a dedicated button to make this functionality more discoverable and user-friendly.
Your input genuinely helps us improve, and we’re grateful you brought this up. If you have any other suggestions or questions, we’re always here to help!
Warm regards,
Thank you! This really does allow me to insert some types of blocks! But unfortunately, not all of them. I wasn’t able to insert video blocks, shortcodes, or patterns.
I hope you will fix these issues.
Hello @ioruslan88,
I’ve just tested the Video block, and it appears to be working as expected within the FAQ editor. Here’s a screenshot for your reference:

As for patterns and shortcodes, our development team is actively looking into these. We’re working on fine-tuning compatibility to ensure a smoother experience across all block types. Your feedback has been incredibly helpful in identifying these edge cases, and we truly appreciate your patience while we work on improvements.
I’ll make sure to keep you posted as we roll out updates. In the meantime, if you run into any other issues or have suggestions, feel free to share them—we’re always listening.
Thanks again for helping us make BetterDocs better!
Warm regards,
