• I’m working to build a site in a test environment and just noticed that the FAQ permalinks do not seem to be working. Standard Page and Testimonial permalinks do work and so I’m trying to understand what I’m doing incorrectly for FAQ’s.

This link loads the collection of sample FAQ’s.

However, if you rollover the titles of the FAQ’s and attempt to click them, the standard Page not Found message appears. I receive the same message when attempting to preview the FAQ as well.

For debugging purposes, I’ve done the following multiple times.
    – Disabled all plugins
    – Changed the permalink setting to a different option, save changes, change it back and save changes again.
    – Renamed the .htaccess file and allowed another to be created. The rewrite rules seem to be okay.

Other items that may be relevant.
    – My production website is not yet in WordPress and runs at https://www.521promo.com
    – I do have a workaround so this isn’t pressing.
I appreciate any direction you may have.
    Thank you,
    Chris

  • You need to identify exactly which FAQ plugin you are using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.

That’s a bit of the challenge. I’ve turned off all plugins and still experience the issue, so I think it may be the default WP installed FAQ system?
    Thanks!
