Fatal Error

Do you have a backup? Which file were you editing? Do have have FTP or web host file manager access to your theme files? You will need to be able to replace the file that was edited improperly in one the manners noted with a copy from the version of your theme in use (or direct edit file if you know what was added that caused the issue).

Log into GoDaddy, go your web host area, go to the file manager, there you can rename the file edited in error and upload an unedited version. If unsure, call GD.

I don’t know how to upload an unedited version

– download original unedited theme from author’s site
– download FTP tool, like FileZilla, you can do that here

– unzip your theme
– connect FileZilla to your server
– using FileZilla, open files stored at your host and navigate to wp-themes in one window and your computer’s files in another and navigate where you have unzipped version of your theme
– upload your theme. You can either overwrite the edited misbehaving files or delete them first and then upload
