Hi @betadog,
Sorry for your difficulty.
I traced through the code and I’m wondering if you are using this plugin on a theme that does not have a parent theme (which would make the need for the plugin moot?) If so, that would probably generate that error.
I can fix it soon to keep it from crashing in the case of no parent theme but if you are using on a theme without a parent that would probably be why. Perchance are you on a multisite where some sites have themes with parents and others do not?
Hi @betadog – I just updated to v1.2 – see if that fixes your issue.
Also, please let me know if you were experiencing the problem on a theme without a parent so that I can be sure that’s what the problem was.
Thanks Mike. I do have a parent theme, it’s Reverie 5. Now that I think about it: Reverie is not your plain vanilla WordPress theme. Some of the structure is different – maybe that causes the error. I can’t check right now, but I will tomorrow.
@betadog – I downloaded Reverie 5 and was not able to duplicate. I was able to duplicate your issue using using Multisite and a theme with no parent. The fixes for these are in version 1.2a which is what is currently available.
I’ve just installed 1.2a and all is good now. No more fatal alert and the plugin works great. Thank you very much, Mike!
@betadog – Excellent! Glad I could help and thanks for helping me find and fix the error.
