Does anyone know of a way to fix this. This is way over my head.

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 12058624) (tried to allocate 1792 bytes) in /home/quillia/public_html/blog/wp-admin/edit-form-advanced.php on line 381

This error started showing up out of the blue. Just one mouse click and the page went down.

  • Yep, see:

You may need to ask your hosts if you can’t get it to change yourself – some hosts have limits.

    WPyogi,

Can you be clear. I have no idea what you are talking about.

    Where is your site hosted?

Do you have access to your site root on the server via FTP?

    Total choice

I contacted them and they say the issue is resolved. But, now all that comes up is a blank screen.

I really do not no any code ane very few terms.

For example, I don’t know what you mean by site root. I can get to everything via ftp. I just don’t know the terms.

now all that comes up is a blank screen.

That can be caused by different things – but start by using FTP to rename your plugins folder:

    wp-content
         plugins.HOLD

If that doesn’t fix it, also rename your currently active theme – which will be inside the themes folders (also in wp-content).

Thanks for helping. I will continue on this in the morning. I have started working with support at Total Choice. I upgraded to 4.1 and that fixed the blank screen. I can post now. Since upgrading, I can no longer upload media even with all of the plugins deactivated. Total choice also increased my php upload limit but that didn’t help either.

The original issue of this thread has been solved.

The out of memory error is fixed. So, lets close it.
