    We just did a fresh install on wordpress 4.2.2 and it worked without any issues.

    Could you let us know what version of wordpress you are using?
    And also, what version of the plugin you are trying to install?

    I have the same problem but with other error

    WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1]
    ALTER TABLE act_yop2_polls ADD

    @hispa2000 Did you find a solution? I have the same issue on production server, on the test server all is ok… :/
