This has already been reported to our developer and it will be fixed in the following version of the plugin.
This happens only when “Additional Automated Messages” add-on is activated, you can deactivate add on temporarily until this is fixed in Membership 2 -> Add-ons.

A quick update on the issue, we’ve released a new version that should fix the problem with Additional Automated Messages add on causing fatal error on Automated Email Responses page in the Setting.

Thanks for the update. Yes, I updated the plugin to the new version and I don’t see that error anymore. Yay. Thanks so much! But when I tested the signup, I don’t receive any automated email?! I have switched it on. Does it require any extra configuration? Plus where can I change the fields of the email including From (email), Subject, and signed by?!

Hey can anybody from the WPMUDEV support team please help??
The automated emails don’t get sent. I have to launch my site tomorrow. First I had to wait for the fatal error. Now I can’t send any confirmation/autoresponder emails. Please let me know if you can help me fix this or I may need to look for another option. 🙁

Are you having issues with all emails (such as general WP registration email) or just with Membership 2 emails?

Update: The fatal error went away after I updated the plugin to the new version.
