Try:
– switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
– re-running the upgrade manually.
No this doesn’t seem to work. After following the two steps I still cannot get into my site without getting the same error.
Did you try re-running the upgrade manually?
I have gotten this same error message several times. I have done everything stated on this forum, even have broghten in an expert who is a programmer who develops WP sites. We get it up and running and a few days later we get the same message.
This is getting beyond frustrating now, why is this happening? I do not want to go through the efforts of uploading alot of content and then end up getting this same 505 error message.
I don’t feel this new upgrade to 3.0 is working properly because before I upgraded I was fine.
What can I do to prevent this constant error message?
