When I try to make any changes to the Under Construction plugin, I receive the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_debug() in /home4/wad2gs0acljo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache.php on line 2770

WordPress and plugin are both updated. This error appears any time I hit the Save button, including but not limited to activating the Under Construction page on my website.

    Hi,
Please try deactivating the WP Super Cache plugin and see how things behave then. We’ll look into things from our end as well.

Thank you for your response. I deactivated WP Super Cache and the fatal error has stopped. However, my dashboard now says that Under Construction mode is currently enabled, but I have tried from several other devices and am still able to view my site (no Under Construction landing page). Does Under Construction take some time to activate? Please advise.

    You’re welcome.

No, it activates instantly. If you have any other caching plugins make sure you empty the cache. And bear in mind that if you’re logged in you won’t see the under construction page.

I don’t have any other caching plugins, but my website can still be accessed from several devices on which I’m not signed in. The only plugins currently activated on my site are: Google Analytics Dashboard for WP, HostGator WalkMe Plugin, Jetpack by WordPress.com, Under Construction, Varnish HTTP Purge, and WordPress Importer. I did update to the latest version of Under Construction this morning but am still experiencing the same issue of not seeing the Under Construction page.

Use Varnish HTTP Purge plugin to purge the Varnish cache.

That fixed it, thanks so much!
