• Hi! Sometimes my blog without no reason just stops working and i get this message:
    500 – Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.”

I ask my hosting service for help and they told me that there is a problem with:
“Line 1280: [04-Feb-2011 11:24:52] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\inetpub\vhosts\dinfo.gr\httpdocs\wp-includes\class-http.php on line 1402”

They told me that i must find why this script is tries to run for so long and that i have to fix it. But i dont know how….

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    My blog is http://www.dinfo.gr/

    Start by disabling your plugins.

I run 12 plugins. The problem does not always appear!! If it were a plugin problem wouldn’t always appear?

Not really. It depends on when the plugin is called. But the first step to this is always turn off the plugins and see if you can reproduce it without. If so, then it may just be that your site is getting too much traffic for the setup you’re on.

Illogically, another plugin MIGHT help you. A caching plugin.

Thanks! I will start turning of the plugins but how can i figure out that the problem is solved? At the momment my site is up and running…

    Hello,

My website crashed last night when I attempted to update the facebook comments importer plugin.

If you go to my blog at http://robgweightloss.com I get the following Fatal error message.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class FacebookApiException in /home/content/18/7257118/html/wp-content/plugins/facebook-comments-importer/facebook.php on line 70

I have cleared my cache and deleted my cookies but I still cannot even get to my Word Press Admin page.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Rob, Login via FTP, delete the FaceBook plugin. And next time make your own topic, your problem is similar, but not really the same and can make it harder to help you.

Dimitri – see if your host will let you monitor your error logs. If you can, then check every day and see if the error pops back up. It NOT, then turn on one plugin, watch it for a day, etc etc.

Hi again. I turn of many of the plugins. But after 2 weeks the probleb come back again. Now my site is down 5 hours and i dont know what to do. I sent mail to my host but they dont respond. I google the problem and i find that i can write this to .htaccess “php_value max_execution_time 60”.
I did it but nothing happen.
