Out of nowhere we started receiving the following error when trying to access our site, nothing has been changed or updated since it last worked. We can access the Admin panel and if I deactivate the Wordfence Plugin the site works again:

Fatal error: Cannot declare class wfWAFHTTPTransportCurl, because the name is already in use in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\vendor\wordfence\wf-waf\src\lib\http.php on line 343

Any ideas? Our site is hosted on a Windows Server.

  • Hi @krislee
Could you please verify that you are running the latest version of Wordfence (7.1.1 by now)?

Also, try to reinstall the plugin from WordPress Dashboard and re-check this issue. You should know that we do not recommend using Wordfence on Windows/IIS. This isn’t officially supported as mentioned on the plugin requirements page.

    Thanks.
