Fatal Error?

    When I try to install, the screen loads as per normal but a message comes up:

    Warning: main(ABSPATH/wp-admin/admin-functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/9999mb.com/d/a/r/darkeyez02/htdocs/Wordpress/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 3

    Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘ABSPATH/wp-admin/admin-functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear’) in /www/9999mb.com/d/a/r/darkeyez02/htdocs/Wordpress/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 3

    What does this mean? I’m new to this, and I’m also really confused. Can anyone help me?

    read the error:

    Failed opening required ‘ABSPATH/wp-admin/admin-functions.php

    it cannot open that file — probably because you didnt upload it, or you uploaded it to the wrong location.

    Nope sorry, the file is uploaded and it’s uploaded into the “wp-admin” folder, that was my first guess but then checked it again and it still wasnt right.

    Permissions? Is it readable by the web server process?

    Yeh I think so, there is an account for PHPmy admin and everything, and the ‘index.php’ file says it can access it too.
