Fatal error activate plugin

    If I try to activate the plugin it will not let me activate it and I have this error:

    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/mhd-01/www.emiritalia.it/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/business-directory-plugin/includes/fields/class-fieldtypes-textarea.php on line 423

    Hi @ricsca2,

    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    Business Directory Plugin and WP both require that you have PHP version 5.6 or higher. That error above happens when you have a version of PHP that is unsupported.

    I would recommend contacting your web hosting company and upgrade your PHP ASAP. You can have any version between 5.6 and 7.0, but make sure it’s at least 5.6 and you update BD to version 5.2.2.1.

    Try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
