After updating WordPress to 5.7.1 and Hummingbird to Version 2.7.3 I get a fatal error when activating the plugin. I needed to deactivate it via FTP.

  • I have met exactly the same problem. I had to desactivate Hummingbird to solve the problem. I hope that Hummingbird’s Team will find a solution to fix this problem

    Hi @missmikado and @jordanasendia

    I hope you’re well today!

Unfortunately, there’s been unexpected glitch during deployment of the update that caused this. It was immediately spotted by our developers and fixed so the broken update was available for less than nine minutes but apparently it was enough to affect some sites.

We’re sincerely sorry for the issue and please accept my apologies for all the trouble.

Please remove the plugin and install it again and it should all be fine now.

Note please: if you have downloaded plugin installation zip package, don’t use the same one but download the fresh one instead or just install the plugin directly from “Plugins -> Add new” page.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
