• Latest update took down my website and now getting critical error. Seems some issue with using child theme on new update. Surely a new upgrade should avoid taking websites offline like this! what do I do to get things back working?

    Could you please provide the screenshot of the errors you are getting after updating the theme?

    Also please try deactivating the third-party plugins on your end and check if it helps you or not!

    The error simply stated there is a critical error on this website. I can’t send a screen as I had to change the theme to remove the error but a lot of the website functionality was on the old theme so I will probably try and get an older version of colormag and stop the auto updates. I have already had to this on another website
