• Hi,

I’ve installed the lite version from wordpress repository, but it does not seem to work for me.
I’ve configured a Youtube Basic account, which validates fine, but when I try to add something to a post by using the “Add media” button and then the “Insert Youtube” tab on the left, all I see is a loading indicator, that never stops…

The error log gave the following output:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /web/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/remote-medias-lite/src/RemoteMediaExt/Accounts/Youtube/RemoteMedia.php on line 38

I’ve disabled any other plugins, to see if there are incompatibilities, but nothing changed. The wordpress installation is not installed in the root of the domain, but in a subfolder like http://www.example.com/wordpress.

    Regards

  • Hi Anti,

    Thanks for pointing that out.

This seems to be caused by some unexpected data received from youtube concerning the author name.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to release a fix before Christmas.

However, I believe that if you are able to comment or remove this exact line, it will fix your problem temporarily until I release a fix. Deleting this line will not affect anything that you will be able to see.

    Hope it helps,

    Hi Louis-Michel,

    thanks for the prompt response!
The hotfix you suggested works fine for me. 🙂

    Have a nice Christmas time… 😉

    Great!

I will keep this topic unresolved until the fix is released.

Have a nice time too 🙂
