After updating to wordpress 5.8.2 with the latest PHP version my site didn’t launch anymore due to a fatal error from TablePress:
    Here it is:
Warning: require_once(/customers/8/1/5/franschreuder.nl/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/classes/class-tablepress.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /customers/8/1/5/franschreuder.nl/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/tablepress.php on line 71 Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required '/customers/8/1/5/franschreuder.nl/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/classes/class-tablepress.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /customers/8/1/5/franschreuder.nl/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/tablepress.php:71 Stack trace: #0 /customers/8/1/5/franschreuder.nl/httpd.www/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2286): include_once() #1 /customers/8/1/5/franschreuder.nl/httpd.www/wp-admin/plugins.php(191): plugin_sandbox_scrape('tablepress/tabl...') #2 {main} thrown in /customers/8/1/5/franschreuder.nl/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/tablepress.php on line 71

Hope you can help me out…. Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This indicates that a TablePress PHP file is missing. My guess is that this is coming from an incomplete/corrupted installation of the plugin.
I recommend to delete TablePress (i.e. the /wp-content/plugins/tablepress/ folder on the server) and then re-install it again via the WordPress admin dashboard or a fresh download.

    Regards,
    Tobias
