Have you tried disabling/updating all of your plugins?
Hello.
In the Spanish forum gave me the solution.
Download the latest version of WP, unzip in local, delete the folder “wp-content” and upload by FTP all the rest folders and files, and replacing your folders and files in your server.
This solution can be used for a lot of Fatal Error
Anyway if I can’t access to wp-admin, I can’t disabling/updating the plugins. For do it I need to do by FTP not by Admin Panel
Thanks and hope it help to somebody else
Leon
Hi Leon,
To clarify your steps:
1. Download WordPress locally and unzip
2. In your local folder, delete “wp-content” folder
3. Upload remainder of local files onto your WordPress servicer via FTP to REPLACE all existing folders and files in your WP installation EXCEPT the “wp-content” folder.
4. Try to access WP Admin again.
This worked perfectly for me! From there, I was able to log back into my wpadmin and re-start the upgrade that previously failed.
Thanks so much!
the clarification its correct..
the only thing, to be precise, is, you don’t need to replace “wp-content” folder because its already deleted on local. The rest its correct
Thanks
Tonight I tried to upgrade to 4.7.1 and I got the same error message, Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_customize_preview() in D:\Hosting\11652852\html\wp-admin\includes\admin-filters.php on line 47.
Throw2k, I tried your instructions but they did not fix my problem. I cannot access any of the admin functions.
Does this mean I use the old wp-content folder or not use one at all?
Any other ideas?
