Fatal Error: cannot access website or panel

    I tried to install the new Gutenberg editor and received this message:

    Fatal error: Cannot declare class WP_REST_Blocks_Controller, because the name is already in use in /homepages/8/d487188190/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/gutenberg/lib/class-wp-rest-blocks-controller.php on line 123

    I cannot access my control panel in order to change anything.

    Help!

    Gutenberg is now “the block editor” and part of WordPress 5.x. You don’t need to install a plugin unless you want the leading-edge changes before they get moved into core. Via FTP or your hosting control panel’s file manager app, delete the directory wp-content/plugins/gutenberg.
