    I just clicked the link to upgrade to 3.0 and got this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare is_rtl() (previously declared in /home/jesglo/vegetarianrunner.com/wp-includes/locale.php:347) in /home/jesglo/vegetarianrunner.com/wp-includes/locale.php on line 349

    Seems this function is declared twice. When I comment one out, I get an error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WP_Locale in /home/jesglo/vegetarianrunner.com/wp-includes/locale.php on line 14

    Help?

    Same thing for me. I updated two website both being hosting on the same server. One worked fine. The other didn’t!
    Need help asap!

    Backup then delete the events-calendar plugin folder from wp-content/plugins/event-calendar.

    Whew… 🙂 If you have any problems accessing the admin section (like I just did), delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders and upload them manually.

    A thousand thank yous! I had the same drama and the events calendar plugin wasn’t even activated when I did the upgrade.

    Ditto here. I had the same exact problem and deleting Events-Calendar was the ticket.

    Nice!!! That saved me a ton of time. I wonder why the Event Calendar plugin clashes during the WP upgrade?

    Unfortunately, it seems that the Event Calendar breaks WordPress after the upgrade. Anyone know the solution to getting the Calendar working with WP 3.0.1?

    Ok, I tried renaming the plugins directory, then renaming it back, didn’t work. I backed up the plugins directory, then deleted it, created a blank one, that didn’t work. My site main page loads, but no blogs can be accessed. Need help!
