Hey @rcecilio,
I would just login to your cPanel or FTP to the plugins directory and delete the duplicator folder. It looks like we have some code in the latest version that doesn’t support PHP 5.2. We’ll work to get working with that version in the next release.
Thanks for letting us know!
Hey @rcecilio,
If you want to give the developer version a try it should have the updates for your issue. The very latest version (1.3.2) can be found by following these instructions:
– Download Developer Version
– Uninstall your current version and install this one.
Let me know if this solves your issue~
Thanks
I’ll try to delete the folder first and update the php version, thanks Cory
Sounds good! Thxs for the update.
Hi Cory, I had the same issue as @rcecilio.
After removing the plugin itself via FTP, I installed v1.3.2.
This solved my issue.
Thanks!
Excellent! Thanks for the update @lindaflower.
Cheers~
just yesterday I had the chance to work on both sites again, both clients where off because of the holydays. So updating the info about them:
Site 1
I just deleted the plugin folder and the admin panel worked fine. But now there’s a messege in the plugins page.
“The plugin duplicator/duplicator.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.”
Questions: Do i need to delete more files? Can i install the 1.3.2 version since the PHP version still old or install the developer version you send? Or I just wait until the PHP is updated and then install them?
Site 2
Someone changed the FTP passward and i can’t access it. But they installed a newer version of PHP. The error messege when i try to access the admin panel changed to:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function valid() on null in /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-content/plugins/duplicator/classes/package/class.pack.php:735 Stack trace: #0 /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-content/plugins/duplicator/duplicator.php(259): DUP_Package::not_active_files_tmp_cleanup() #1 /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): duplicator_init('') #2 /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #3 /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #4 /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-admin/admin.php(156): do_action('admin_init') #5 /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-admin/index.php(10): require_once('/home/rclin713/...') #6 {main} thrown in /home/rclin713/public_html/2015/wp-content/plugins/duplicator/classes/package/class.pack.php on line 735
I believe in monday i’ll have the new ftp password. What you recomend to do?
Thanks all for the reply’s

Hey @rcecilio,
SITE 1
That message is fine, it will happen when you manually remove the folder. You should be able to install the next version.
SITE 2
Do you know the version of PHP and Duplicator that are now on the server? It might make sense to also remove that version as well and grab the latest 1.3.3
Hope that helps~
Site 2 PHP version: 5.6.30. with Duplicator 1.3.0
Site 2
I just deleted the duplicator folder and the admin panel was back to normal.
